Created in 2015 by artist and activist Diariata N'Diaye, App-Elles is developed by the non-profit Resonantes in collaboration with the technology company WaryMe. The aim is to provide an international support tool, complementary to emergency services, as a single entry point for finding all existing help and resources. Resonantes is a non-profit organisation recognised as being of public interest, funding its work through sponsorship, grants and donations.
